Bourbon to host 5th annual Great American Whiskey Fair – September 28

On the evening of Thursday September 28th, Bourbon, The Charitable Plate and Farm to Table Productions will host the 5th annual Great American Whiskey Fair from 5:30 – 9:00pm in the Grand Hall at 701 Whaley. At the largest bourbon and American whiskey tasting event in the Southeast, attendees will have access to nearly 500 whiskeys from across the world. Distilleries from America, Canada, Ireland, Scotland and Japan will present their whiskeys for guests to sample and learn about.
Attendees will enjoy a BBQ buffet by Chefs Kristian Niemi and Frank Bradley of Bourbon and Chef Lou Hutto of LowCo BBQ, a Cigar Veranda sponsored by the Cigar Box and Wild Turkey and a cocktail competition with some of the state’s best mixologists.
Proceeds of the evening benefit the Charitable Plate, a non-profit with the mission to shepherd talent in the Midlands community by providing scholarships to fund the growth of future chefs, farmers and strengthen our local food system.
Vip tickets are $125, and include a Great American Whiskey Fair t-shirt, goody bag, early entry, a chance to win a Private Bourbon Tasting for 10, complimentary cigar and Whiskey Wood stir sticks.
