Industrial site on Shop Road sells for $2.3 million

Newmark Wilson Kibler announced the recent sale of 17,000 square feet at 2716 Shop Road to TMC Transportation for $2.3 million. George McCutchen, CCIM, SIOR, Jeremy Wilson, CPM, CCIM, and John Metts represented the seller, McQueeney Properties, in the sale of the space.
Based in Des Moines, TMC Transportation is the nation’s largest employee-owned open deck transportation company. This purchase expands TMC’s presence in the Midlands.
Jason Webb, Executive Vice President of Asset Management at TMC Transportation, said of the deal, “TMC is excited to continue its growth and presence in the southeast with this latest acquisition. We look forward to beginning the development of a 44 acre, cutting-edge trucking terminal to support our fleet and train America’s best truck drivers.”
