Tax Seminar for the Retail Industry – June 22

The South Carolina Department of Revenue (SCDOR) will host a Sales & Use Tax Seminar for the retail industry on Thursday, June 22. The seminar will cover the basics of sales and use tax and local taxes, sales tax exemptions, software/maintenance contracts, and online filing. Attendees can also participate in a question and answer session led by Department experts.

When: Thursday, June 22 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Where:  Columbia Conference Center – 169 Laurelhurst Avenue, Columbia
Cost: $50 (includes all course materials and lunch)
Who: Business managers, chief financial officers, accounting staff, tax professionals, and others who work with sales and use taxes in the retail industry

Pre-registration is required and must be received by the SCDOR by June 19.
