SOL Summerville partners with Chase After A Cure to give back through Kitchen Karma Program
April 18, 2017SOL Southwest Kitchen & Tequila Bar in Summerville will partner with Chase After A Cure to raise money through the restaurant’s Kitchen Karma program over the next six weeks. Proceeds will directly support Chase After A Cure, a local charity devoted to funding research and raising awareness for alternative and more effective treatments for children with cancer.
“It’s an honor to partner with this incredible organization that was founded right here in Summerville,” said David Clark, owner of SOL. “Their dedication to help children and families affected by pediatric cancer is truly inspiring.”
SOL raises these funds through its Kitchen Karma program where the restaurant pairs with a local charity to raise funds over a period of six to eight weeks. With this program, SOL chooses a featured dish and a featured cocktail and donates $1 from every featured item purchased at SOL within that fundraising period. The featured items for the Chase After A Cure partnership include the SOL Trio and Strawberry Margarita. Before partnering with Chase After A Cure, SOL partnered with Lowcountry Home of Hope and raised a total of $1,232, which will be used to help homeless men in the Summerville community.
