Hood Construction welcomes Ken Brophey

Hood Construction Company welcomes Ken Brophey to its staff as Director of Institutional Services. Ken is a tenured member of the construction industry, bringing with him three decades of experience in CM-R project delivery.
Having completed over 30 K-12 projects throughout his career, ranging from complex auditorium additions to large scale greenfield construction, Ken has worked throughout all project phases. He possesses a specialized understanding of the needs of today’s school districts, making him an outstanding project leader for institutional projects. Currently, Ken is serving as Project Manager on the Summerville High School Career and Technology Education Addition, which includes 19,600 SF of new classroom facilities as well as a new weight room and a 4,500 SF conversion of existing spaces into athletics facilities. “I am very excited to contribute my area of expertise to the outstanding 30 year success Hood Construction has achieved,” said Brophey, “I’m thrilled for this next step”.
