LS3P welcomes new CFO

LS3P welcomes Doug Snyder, CPA, CGMA, who joins the firm as Chief Financial Officer. Snyder, who will be based in the firm’s Charleston, SC office, has been serving in a consulting role since November 2015.

Snyder’s previous professional experience includes twenty-five years as owner of The Snyder Firm PA, through which he provided accounting and tax services throughout South Carolina for diverse clients such as law firms, small businesses, and nonprofits. He has also served as Chief Financial Officer for a statewide rural health nonprofit, and as an auditing manager for a global CPA firm. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from The Citadel.

Snyder is an Emeritus Member and Past Board Chair of The Citadel Board of Visitors. Other professional and community outreach includes service on the Board of Directors of the SC Association of Nonprofit Organizations (Treasurer); the Board of Directors for Porter-Gaud School (Treasurer); the Board of Directors of Palmetto Goodwill; the American Institute of CPAs (national CPA Ambassador). The South Carolina Association of CPAs named Snyder as one of the top 100 influential CPAs in South Carolina in the last Century.
