Cypress Real Estate secures lease for Discount Tire on Garners Ferry Road

Columbia’s Cypress Real Estate Partners helps to bring Discount Tire, one of the preeminent tire retailers in the country, to Garner’s Ferry Road.

 

Cypress Real Estate Partners’ Mark James represented the landowner in leasing 6033 Garners Ferry Road.   This property was formerly the location of Colony House Furniture Store.

The property is located directly across Garners Ferry Road from the Target-anchored Shoppes at Woodhill.  This area has become known as Columbia’s retail “Golden Triangle”, anchored by the Shoppes at Woodhill, Cross Hill Market, and Trenholm Plaza.

Construction of the Discount Tire facility has commenced with a projected opening in Fall of 2016.  Discount Tire is the world’s largest independent tire and wheel retailer with 900 stores in 31 states. This will be their third location in the Columbia market.
