Yandle elected President of the Building Industry Association of Central South Carolina
October 21, 2015COLUMBIA, SC – Eddie Yandle of Executive Construction Homes, Inc. was elected as 2016 President of the Building Industry Association of Central South Carolina (BIA), formerly the Home Builders Association of Greater Columbia, at the Annual Meeting of the Membership held October 8, 2015. He will assume the duties of President in January 2016.
Eddie and Shanna Yandle are the owners and founders of Executive Construction Homes. Eddie Yandle has been in the building industry his entire life. In 1985, he started working full time with his father, George (Butch) Yandle, in the underground utilities business.
Eddie built his first personal home in 1989, soon after that he met his wife, Shanna. They quickly built four homes together and Eddie started the beginning of Executive Construction Homes, LLC. Eddie ensures from contract to after completion, the new home buyer is satisfied by being personally involved in every purchase.” Eddie and Shanna are now raising two beautiful children.
Continuing to be a responsible contributor to the community, Executive Construction Homes supports a variety of organizations, charities and takes a special effort to employ local vendors and suppliers in the Columbia area. “Keeping our economy strong begins at home”, says Yandle, who supports all initiatives to keep the home-building industry strong.
In 2012, Eddie Yandle met all the requirements for membership and has been voted by the Master Builder Committee to be accepted as a Certified Master Builder of South Carolina (CMB). He is also one of the select groups of professionals nationwide to earn the Certified Green Professional (CGP) educational designation, identifying him as an Owner/Homebuilder with the skills and the best strategies for incorporating green building principles into new home and remodeling projects.
Eddie spends his free time not only with his family but community and charity related functions. Together, the Yandles’ involvement in the Columbia, SC area has brought over 600 new homes to families in the midlands of South Carolina.

(Bart) Bartlett, Jr. of Bartlett and Davis Construction/Bartlett Law as Vice President; Jennifer Harding of Russell & Jeffcoat Real Estate as Associates Vice President; Clint Galloway of Galloway Family Homes as Treasurer; Mike Satterfield of Great Southern Homes as Secretary and David Tuttle of Lake Carolina Development as Past President.

In addition, the membership elected two Associates Directors and five Builder Directors to the board each for two-year terms. The Associate Directors are Jan Hadder, First Community Bank and Gary Pickren, Blair Cato Pickren Casterline, LLC.
The new Builder Directors are Thom Chumney, Mungo Homes; R.B. Gallup, Gallup and LaFitte, Inc.; Patrick McGivern, Ryan Homes; Andrew White, Edge City Homes and Andy Young, Young’s Contracting and Development.
Chairpersons of BIA councils also have a seat on the BIA Board of Directors. Included here are Frank Berry, Essex Homes, SE serving as Chairman of the Land Development Council; Rob Haney, D R Horton Company – Crown LLC serving as Chairman of the Sales and Marketing Council of Greater Columbia; Andrew Cole, Collins & Lacy, PC as Chairman of the BIA Remodelers; and Clay Walsh, Civil Engineering of Columbia as Chairman of the High Performance Building Council.
