Rick Mendoza elected to The American College of Bankruptcy

COLUMBIA, SC – Nexsen Pruet bankruptcy law specialist Rick Mendoza has been elected to The American College of Bankruptcy.
The prestigious honor “recognizes exceptional bankruptcy professionals for their work, their contributions to the administration of justice, their public service and their integrity.”

Mendoza has long been a leader in the South Carolina bankruptcy industry, receiving certification from the South Carolina Supreme Court, serving as Chair of the Bankruptcy & Debtor-Creditor Law Specialization Advisory Board, and previously serving as Chair of Bankruptcy Local Rules Advisory Committee for the District of South Carolina.
Outside of his legal work, Mendoza serves as Chairman of the Board of Trustees for the Sisters of Charity Foundation of South Carolina and on the Board of Trustees for the S.C. Center for Fathers and Families. He earned his J.D. from University of South Carolina in 1983 and B.S. from University of South in 1980.
