University of South Carolina Columbia campus closed on Monday, Oct. 5

The University of South Carolina Columbia campus is closed on Monday, Oct. 5 for students, faculty and staff, due to excessive flooding and poor roadway conditions.

Only essential personnel should report to campus.

There will be no day or evening classes and all activities are canceled. All entrances to campus are closed to through traffic and only authorized personnel will be admitted entrance.
