WEST COLUMBIA, SC – Moore Beauston & Woodham L.L.P., a full service accounting and consulting firm with offices in West Columbia, Charleston, Greenville and Hartsville, South Carolina announces that Ken Newhouse, USTCP, CPA, CITP, CGMA in the firm’s West Columbia Office, has been promoted to Senior Manager in the tax and business consulting practice and the Senior Manager in charge of the West Columbia office.
Ken has over fifteen years of public accounting experience and is a U.S. Tax Court Practitioner, Certified Public Accountant, Certified Information Technology Professional, and he is a Charted Global Management Accountant. Ken is a graduate of the University of South Carolina, where he received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the West Columbia Rotary, West Columbia Chamber of Commerce and Toastmasters International. He is also a member of the South Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants where he serves on the Board of Directors, Chair of the Tax Committee for 2015-2016, Leadership Council, and the Legislative Advocacy and Regulatory Committee.
