PHMS teacher receives statewide mentor award

LEXINGTON, SC – Pleasant Hill Middle Drama and Musical Theatre Teacher Lori McKelvey received the South Carolina Theatre Association’s 2015 Deborah Smith Hoffman Outstanding Mentor Teacher Award.
The SCTA Awards Committee and Executive Board selected McKelvey based on her contributions to rising, new and even experienced theatre educators.
McKelvey began teaching drama 17 years ago. She has spent the last nine years teaching at PHMS.
