Chapin Utilities Department Announces Changes, New After-Hours Number

CHAPIN, SC – Effective March 31, 2015, the Town of Chapin’s Utility Department will assume all operation and maintenance functions associated with its utility systems. According to Utilities Director Andy Metts, EA Services will no longer be involved in routine operation and maintenance or emergency repairs. The Town’s staff will be the point of contact from this day forward.
For utility customers needing to contact the department during normal working hours (9 am – 5 pm) they will continue to use the established contact number of 803-345-0416 and 803-605-9711 for after-hours calls. A Utility Department representative will respond as soon as possible following receipt of a maintenance call.
Please make a note of these contact numbers and share these numbers with any of the Town’s utility customers. The Town will be including the new numbers on future customer utility bills.
