SC Bar Offers Free Legal Clinics in the Lexington Areas
October 22, 2014November 3, 6, and 18 | Local attorneys to discuss variety of legal topics
The SC Bar Pro Bono Program will sponsor three free legal clinics in the Lexington area in November. The schedule is as follows:
- Nov. 3 – Landlord and Tennant Law Issues from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Lexington County Public Library (5440 Augusta Rd., Lexington 29072)
- Nov. 6 – Family Law Issues, including divorce, custody, visitation and child support, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Lexington County Public Library Cayce-W. Columbia Branch (1500 Augusta Rd., W. Columbia 29169)
- Nov. 18 – End of Life Issues, including health care powers of attorney, living wills, DNR orders, powers of attorney, funeral planning and cremation, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Lexington County Public Library Irmo Branch (6251 St. Andrews Rd., Columbia 29212)
The seminars are free for anyone who would like to attend. The format typically consists of an overview followed by a question and answer session. A schedule of other upcoming seminars throughout the state is available online at www.scbar.org/clinics.
