The Hearth Center for Eating Disorders is a nonprofit treatment program, located on the campus of Carolina Children’s Home in the heart of Columbia, South Carolina. The campus, rich with a 100+ year history of being home to a number of South Carolina’s children, sits on 55 acres with historic brick buildings and rolling green lawns.

There are an estimated 4,000 children in our state suffering from an eating disorder and The Hearth is the only residential treatment facility in South Carolina.  Eating disorders are serious. Recovery from an eating disorder is possible.
