This week, the Southern Guitar Festival and Competition will be bringing world-class guitar performers and talented young guitarists to Columbia to compete. Not only will there be a competition, but also concerts, classes, and lectures! With all the festival has to offer, there is more than one way to enjoy this event!
As if First Thursdays on Main wasn’t already awesome enough, they have now expanded! This week, check out the biggest, baddest First Thursdayyet! With all the new venues and events to be a part of, this is definitely the First Thursday for everyone. This weekend, you’re invited to our 1st annual meeting and presentation of the 2014 Stephen G. Morrison Visionary Award, being presented to Palmer “Satch” Krantz, President and CEO of Riverbanks Zoo. Come to Tapp’s Art Center this Friday at 5:30 for special presentations, award ceremony, and reception. The event is free to the public, but reservations are recommended!
