EngenuitySC Announces Finalists for Ignite! Ideas Contest, Nov. 20, 2013
November 13, 2013COLUMBIA, SC – November 13, 2013 – EngenuitySC has announced the three finalists in the $5000 Ignite! Ideas Contest. They will be judged via live audience voting at the Nov. 20, 2013 Ignite! celebration at The Zone at Williams-Brice Stadium, 5:15 to 8:30 p.m. More tickets have been made available for the event: http://www.engenuitysc.com/ignite

Infinite Reach LLC’s goal is to bring high tech electronic design and manufacturing to Columbia, S.C. with PEGS Shades. The LED party shades they’ve developed are a launching point for future more complex products. They are a low-cost, easy-to-manufacture product that can provide the company with the revenue stream necessary to acquire electronic manufacturing equipment. This will allow them to do all of their circuit board population and final assembly of this product and future products here.

Through daily, pre-selected staging locations – some of which target food deserts – Succotash Mobile Farmers’ Market links local SC Certified farmers with residents of Metro Columbia. The truck will carry fresh produce, pre-mixed or bagged salads and wraps.
About The Ignite! Ideas Contest
The Ignite! Ideas Contest was launched in partnership with sponsor Wells Fargo Bank to incent local entrepreneurs and innovators to step up with ideas that can move the Midlands forward. Entrants submit a short video and summary online, then a jury selects three finalists to pitch their idea live at the Ignite! celebration. In 2011, the first year of the contest, Jim Stritzinger of EnduringFX took home the $5000 startup money, courtesy of Wells Fargo and EngenuitySC, to help fund his new venture. In 2012, Will Bryan of Public Works of HeART took home the prize. Bryan will speak at the 2013 Ignite! celebration.
