Carolina Panthers’ Henry Thomas to Speak at AAF Luncheon

COLUMBIA, SC – September 11, 2012 – Carolina Panthers Director of Broadcasting and New Media Henry Thomas will offer a behind-the-scenes view of the Panthers’ marketing and advertising efforts at AAF of the Midland’s luncheon on Tuesday, September 11 at 701 Whaley.

Thomas will speak to attendees about his position with the Carolina Panthers, giving a day-in-the-life view of his responsibilities as the team’s director of broadcasting and new media. In his position, Thomas oversees one of the NFL’s few 100 percent in-house broadcasting departments, including on-site radio and television studios, where they produce four pre-season televised games, 20 coach’s shows, 20 highlight shows and eight hours of game day radio for all 20 games each season. He also manages the team’s social media presence, Panthers.com and game day entertainment, including the Panthers cheerleaders and mascots.

The luncheon begins at 11:45 pm, and tickets are free for AAF of the Midlands members, $25 for non-members and $15 for students.
