SC Association of Nonprofit Organizations Elects Members to its Board of Directors

COLUMBIA, SC – July 29, 2009 –  The South Carolina Association of Nonprofit Organizations (SCANPO) elected three new members and re-elected five current members to its Board of Directors after a state-wide member ballot.  With the addition of the new members there are now 21 state-wide directors on the governing board of the state’s nonprofit association.

“We are fortunate to have such diverse and qualified individuals lead the state association of nonprofits,” President of SCANPO Mason B. Hardy said.  “Their leadership skills and expertise will guide the association’s programs and services to assist nonprofit organizations in serving our communities and citizens across the state.”

New Members Elected are:

  • Harvey Galloway of the BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina Foundation (Columbia)
  • S. Hunter Howard, Jr., CPA of New Carolina (Columbia)
  • Lynn Greer of  First Federal (North Charleston).
