LongHorn Steakhouse in Columbia Features New Remodeled Look
April 6, 2009COLUMBIA, SC – April 6, 2009 – LongHorn Steakhouse today announced that it has completed the remodeling of its location at 171 Harbison Blvd. in Columbia. The interior and exterior of the restaurant has been updated to reflect the brand’s evolution over the years.
Our restaurant first opened in 1997 and has a long history of serving the Columbia community, said Mike Simmons, Managing Partner of the Harbison Blvd. location. We are proud and excited about the fantastic improvements we’ve made in this restaurant to represent the LongHorn of today. We opened as a roadhouse with peanuts on the floor, but we have evolved to a warmer, more inviting setting of a western rancher’s home. We look forward to providing our legendary steaks and genuine western hospitality to our valued guests in our newly remodeled restaurant.
LongHorn, which was named America’s Favorite Steakhouse in 2008 by Restaurants & Institutions annual Consumers’ Choice in Chains study, is known for its passion for grilling fresh, tender, juicy steaks including the signature hand-seasoned Flo’s Filet and the bone-in Outlaw Ribeye. And there’s more on the menu than just great steaks. LongHorn grill masters love to grill fresh, never frozen, fish and chicken in addition to steak. Items such as LongHorn Salmon, a fresh, hand-cut salmon fillet seasoned with a bourbon marinade; fall-off-the-bone tender Baby Back Ribs; and Sierra Chicken, two grilled chicken breasts topped with fresh, tomato-basil salsa, are just some of the other specialties guests will find on the menu.
The restaurant opens daily at 11 a.m. for lunch. It’s open until 10 p.m. Sunday-Thursday and until 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
