Saulda River Club Wins 10 Regal Awards

COLUMBIA, SC – February 24, 2009 – Saluda River Club Sweeps Columbia Home Builders Regal Awards Columbia’s Newest Neighborhood Takes Community of the Year, Judges’ Choice Award.
Virtually sweeping this year’s Home Builders Association of Greater Columbia Awards, Saluda River Club and its marketing firm B. Sheppard Consulting Inc. netted 10 Regal Awards, among the most that any single community has won in the organization’s 20-year history of the awards. The awards are presented annually by the Sales & Marketing Council of the Homebuilders Association.
“Saluda River Club has brought a new type of community to Columbia with its combination of Traditional Neighborhood Design and estate homes,” said Earl McLeod, executive director with the Home Builders Association of South Carolina. “Developers Walter Taylor, Bill Theus and Andy White, along with B. Sheppard Consulting, have truly set the bar for innovation and creativity, and our judges have taken notice.”
In addition to taking top honors in nine categories, including Community of the Year, Saluda River Club was cited for the Judges’ Choice Award. “This honor is a discretionary award given when a residential development is exceptional in the judges’ views,” McLeod said.
The other awards were: Best Sales Center; Best Logo Design; Best Brochure; Best Signage; Best Community Entrance; Best Special Promotion; Best Full-Color Print Ad; and Best Website.
