Abacus Plannning Group Named to Worth Magazine's List of Top 250 Wealth Advisors in the Nation

COLUMBIA, SC – December 26, 2008 – Abacus Planning Group, Inc. has been named to Worth Magazine’s list of “The Top 250 Wealth Advisors” in the nation for the sixth time. The number on the list increased in 2008 because the editors of Worth realized that to fairly reflect geographic diversity and professional excellence of the wealth industry, the list had to grow. 

And so it has – from 100 to 250.  The editors at Worth begin the process with an invitation to their readers to nominate those advisors who represent the absolute best of their profession.  Worth also solicits nominations from banks, wealth management and investment firms, and industry associations.   The candidates then complete a detailed online questionnaire in which they list their educational and professional credentials and discuss their approaches to customer service, portfolio management and risk.
