Central Carolina Community Foundation Announces Edward Conroy as New CFO

COLUMBIA, SC – October 24, 2008 – Central Carolina Community Foundation announces the appointment of Edward E. Conroy, CPA as Chief Financial Officer. In this role, Edward is responsible for managing fund balances and investment information for donors, local organizations and agency endowments. He directs all finance and accounting functions and oversees human resources for the Foundation.

Mr. Conroy most recently served as the Executive VP and CFO of Fastco Threaded Products, Inc. Prior to working as Fastco, Conroy was a senior tax accountant at Elliott Davis, LLC. He received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Master of Taxation from the University of South Carolina.

Central Carolina Community Foundation is a nonprofit organization serving 11 counties in the Midlands by distributing grants and scholarships and linking the resources of donors, nonprofits and community leaders to areas of need.
