Matt Carter Appointed to Vice Chair of Home Technology Alliance

COLUMBIA, SC – October 15, 2008 – Matt Carter, President of Encore Technology + Design ( http://www.myencorehome.com/ ) has been appointed by the National Association of Homebuilders (NAHB) and the Custom Electronics Design and Installation Association (CEDIA) to the position of Vice Chair of the NAHB Home Technology Alliance (HTA).

The HTA is a technology initiative formed to serve as a resource for NAHB’s membership on matters related to electronic integration and home technology products and services for the housing industry.  As Vice Chairman, Carter will lead the development of new educational courses, research, reference guides, and other HTA strategic initiatives.
