Colliers Keenan Announcements Recent Board Appointments

COLUMBIA, SC – August 12, 2008 – Colliers Keenan, Inc., a full-service commercial real estate firm, is pleased to announce recent board appointments of several company employees.  Details for each are below.

Mickey E. Layden of LCK Construction Services has been appointed as Chairman of the Committee of 100, a volunteer marketing group that promotes economic development in a twelve-county region of central South Carolina.  She has served on the Board of Directors since 2005.  Layden has also been named Chairman for the Palmetto Center for Women (formerly YWCA), where she has served on the Board of Directors for the past three years.  Layden is President of LCK Construction Services and Vice President of Property Management for Colliers Keenan, Inc.

John Peyre (J.P.) Scurry, Jr., and Henry W. Roe,

both of Colliers Keenan, Inc., have been asked to serve on the YMCA Downtown Branch Board of Managers.  The purpose of this board is to recommend planning and policy decisions, ensure adequate funding, and monitor and sanction the activities of the Downtown branch.  Scurry joined Colliers Keenan in 2004 as a member of the company’s statewide Retail Services Group, and Roe joined the company in 2007 as a senior broker with the Columbia Office Practice Group.

Rox W. Pollard, Jr., of Colliers Keenan, Inc. has been re-appointed as Chairman of the Richland County Public Library Board of Trustees.  He has served as Chairman since 2006, after being appointed to the Board of Trustees in 2005.  Pollard joined Colliers Keenan in 1998 and currently serves as Manager for the company’s statewide Retail Services Group; he is also a Principal of Colliers Keenan.

David C. Lockwood, III, of Colliers Keenan, Inc., has been named to the Board of Directors for ePropertyData, a major provider of commercial information exchange services for the commercial real estate industry recently acquired by the National Association of Realtors.  Lockwood joined Colliers Keenan in 1986 and currently serves as Senior Vice President of the company, in which he is also a Principal.
