South Carolina Chamber of Commerce Welcomes New Staff
June 26, 2008COLUMBIA, SC – June 26, 2008 – The South Carolina Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the addition of two new staff members.
Stephanie Hafter
Stephanie Hafter joins the Chamber team as an area sales manager.
Hafter was previously the program manager for Junior Achievement of Central South Carolina. There, Hafter was in charge of every program implemented in 22 Counties of SC. She also recruited and trained new volunteers and was responsible for volunteer retention. Hafter, a Columbia native, is eager to use her experience to encourage new companies to join the Chamber in helping improve the quality of life for all South Carolinians.
I am excited to be working with the SC Chamber, and I hope that I will be able to contribute to the growth of business in the state of SC,
said Hafter.
Stefanie Caraviello
Stefanie Caraviello joins the Chamber team as the multimedia managing editor. Caraviello is an Edward R. Murrow recipient, an Emmy award nominee and a South Carolina Broadcasters Association Award winner. She
is the former senior producer at NBC-owned WIS News 10. In her role at
WIS, Stefanie helped produce four evening shows each day and co-managed a team of 24 employees. Her background and experience will help take the Chamber to the next level in interactive communications.
Communications is constantly changing and converging. I look forward to the challenge of integrating print, video and internet to help serve the business community’s needs, said Caraviello.
The addition of both Stephanie Hafter and Stefanie Caraviello coincide with the future of targeted membership and communications by the Chamber.
Stephanie and Stefanie will help the Chamber’s continued mission of targeted communications and innovative membership interaction.
