Elliott Davis Speaker Featured at South Carolina Healthcare Managers Association Meeting

GREENVILLE, SC – September 19, 2007 – Elliott Davis, LLC Principal Ira Bedenbaugh, was a guest speaker at the Greenwood Chapter of the South Carolina Healthcare Managers Association (SCHMA) meeting on Sept. 13, 2007. Bedenbaugh addressed the group with a presentation on document retention.  Approximately 25 people attended the meeting in Greenwood, S.C.

As the leader of Elliott Davis’s medical practices group, Bedenbaugh focuses on helping physician practices and hospitals improve how they manage short and long-term financial and operational challenges. His responsibilities include analyzing physician practice infrastructure, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing workflow processes and technologies that increase business performance and address government compliance issues.

Bedenbaugh served previously as a principal of Protime LLC Medical Management Consultant and the practice administrator of The Family Healthcare Center.

Bedenbaugh earned a bachelor’s of science degree in financial management and a master’s degree in business administration from Clemson University.  He is a member and past president of the Rotary Club of Laurens, S.C.; member and past treasurer of the United Way of Laurens County; board member of the Laurens Chamber of Commerce and board member of Senior Options, also in Laurens.
