Traffic interruptions scheduled at Harbor River Bridge Sept. 24

BEAUFORT, SC – September 20, 2007 – Traffic will be stopped for several short periods of time along the Sea Island Parkway at the Harbor River Bridge between St. Helena Island and Hunting Island the morning of Sept. 24 for utility work. Crews will stop traffic briefly three times while a helicopter crew installs red ball markers at the top of utility structures, per Beaufort County ordinances. Traffic control will start at approximately 8 a.m. and normal traffic flow should resume before noon.
