Gotcha launches first campus bike share system for Augusta University

Gotcha out of Charleston, SC announced they are launching Augusta University’s first bike share system, JagRide, in Augusta, G.A. this month. Augusta students, faculty, and staff will have access to 18 bikes at 3 hubs around campus, available for 24/7 use.

Launching on January 15th, the bike share system promises to be an affordable, accessible, and sustainable transportation option for the university and health system. Gotcha’s bike share services will include the siting, installation, operation, maintenance, and ongoing management of the system in partnership with the university.

The JagRide bike share system will include 18 GPS-enabled 3-speed pedal bikes with Augusta University branding. The hubs will be located at the Health Science campus, the Riverfront campus, and the Summerville campus. AugustaUniversity students and staff can access bikes for free for 30 minutes per day and $5 per hour after the first 30 minutes.
