Deltrease Hart-Anderson elected President of South Carolina Society of Enrolled Agents

Deltrease Hart-Anderson, EA, has been elected President of the South Carolina Society of Enrolled Agents (SCSEA). Mrs. Hart-Anderson is the first African-American woman to lead the SCSEA. She was elected to her position May 2018  and is currently serving a two-year term.

“I am delighted to serve my fellow enrolled agents in South Carolina and to help provide them with the best continuing education and networking opportunities available,” said Mrs. Hart-Anderson.

Enrolled agents (EAs) are a diverse group of independent, federally-authorized tax practitioners who have demonstrated a high level of technical competence in tax and are licensed to practice by the Internal Revenue Service and all 50 states. Members and officers of the SCSEA are also members of the National Association of Enrolled Agents.

Mrs. Hart-Anderson is an experienced enrolled agent and owns D. Hart Accounting in West Columbia, South Carolina. She is an expert in all areas of taxation, including corporate, estate, individual, partnership and federal, local and state taxes.  Mrs. Hart-Anderson’s focus is getting taxpayers out of tax trouble through audit representation, delinquent tax returns assistance, liens/levies removal, payroll problem assistance and other tax issues.  Mrs. Hart-Anderson earned her BS in Accounting from South Carolina State University and her MS in Accounting – Taxation from Strayer University.

The South Carolina society of Enrolled Agents (SCSEA) is the state affiliate of the National Association of Enrolled Agents (NAEA). The NAEA is a national association of more than 10,000 independent licensed tax professionals. Together, NAEA and SCSEA act as advocates for all EAs and taxpayers before government bodies and are recognized as the voices of enrolled agents.
