Butcher & the Boar to open modern steakhouse in Mt. Pleasant

This fall, Butcher & the Boar will open a modern steakhouse with a high-energy, communal environment in Mt. Pleasant, SC, located at 730 Coleman Blvd. The restaurant will pay homage to meat and game, with a strong focus on in-house butchering.

Tommy BegnaudExecutive chef Tommy Begnaud will utilize local, seasonal and the highest quality ingredients to craft large shareable dishes with bold inventive flavors. The meat-heavy offerings will be complemented by local seafood dishes, seasonal salads, hearty sides, and a playful dessert menu.

Butcher & the Boar’s concept commands an impressive space at just over 12,000 sq. ft. which includes an indoor lounge and bar with an extensive whiskey and bourbon selection, and private event spaces for parties ranging from 12-100 guests.  The restaurant will also offer a spacious, dog-friendly patio where guests can enjoy a separate, more casual menu of sausages, brats, sandwiches and snacks with local craft beer and cocktails on draft.
