Charleston Metro Chamber announced as Chamber of the Year

The Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce has been awarded the 2018 Chamber of the Year award by Alexandria, Va.-based Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (ACCE). One of only three finalists – along with Greater Louisville Inc and the Tulsa Regional – in the Metro Chamber’s category four.
On Wednesday, July 18, the Charleston Metro Chamber was recognized at ACCE’s National Convention in Des Moines, Iowa.
Chamber of the Year is the nation’s only award recognizing the leadership role chambers have in their communities and excellence in operations, member services and community leadership. Those honored with the Chamber of the Year designation have demonstrated organizational strength and made an impact on key community priorities, such as education, transportation, business development and quality of life.
