Container Maintenance Corporation launching Dillon County facility

Container Maintenance Corporation today announced plans to open a new facility in Dillon County. Designed to support the newly-opened Inland Port Dillon, Container Maintenance of Dillon is bringing $11.5 million of capital investment and creating approximately 54 jobs.
Providing container and chassis maintenance for a variety of regional clients, Container Maintenance Corporation offers repair, upkeep and depot services, as well as storage and redistribution of intermodal equipment. The company’s new Dillon County facility complements its existing Charleston County facility, which supports the Port of Charleston.

The Coordinating Council for Economic Development has approved a $50,000 Rural Infrastructure Fund grant to assist with the costs of site preparation and building construction.
