Scott & Corley, P.A. announced that its Firm Chairman, Ronald “Ron” C. Scott, has been recognized by Super Lawyers Magazine and is a 2018 Super Lawyers selection for his work in the area of Creditor Debtor Rights.

Ron Scott has repeatedly been selected for inclusion in the Best Lawyers in America® (Woodward/White Inc.) and was most recently included in the 2018 edition as “Lawyer of the Year” for “Mortgage Foreclosure Law”. He was a 2016 Honoree for the Leadership in Law Award as selected by South Carolina Lawyers Weekly®. He was previously named as the leading vote recipient by his peers in the category of Governmental Affairs for the 2015 Legal Elite of the Midlands. In addition, Mr. Scott has achieved the highest available peer review rating (“AV Preeminent”) from Martindale-Hubbell®. Ron Scott is also the recipient of the Order of the Palmetto, the State of South Carolina’s highest civilian honor awarded to citizens for extraordinary lifetime service and achievements of national or statewide significance. Mr. Scott previously served as an officer in the United States Army Reserves.
