Derek Hayes, a, successful local Realtor® and Jack Lawson, a former Accounts Receivables Manager, have chosen to affiliate with Carolina One Real Estate in the company’s two newest sales offices at Cane Bay/Nexton and on Johns Island.
Derek Hayes has transferred his real estate license to Carolina One’s newest office at 1909 State Road (Hwy 176) in Summerville, SC. Hayes, a native of Winston-Salem, NC, has held his real estate license since 2012. Hayes has also earned numerous real estate career designations including Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR), Certified Negotiation Expert (CNE), Certified Relocation Professional (CRP) and Certified New Home Specialist (CNHS).
Additionally, Hayes was named a Realtor® of Distinction by the Charleston Trident Association of Realtors® in 2015, 2016 and 2017. A resident of Charleston for the past 7 years, Hayes continues to earn his Associates in Business Degree at the University of Phoenix.
In the community, Hayes has volunteered for 5 years with the Goose Creek Lions Club which raises funds to assist the blind and hearing impaired. Jack Lawson is a native of Walterboro, SC who possesses a BS degree in Criminal Justice from the Colorado Institute of Technology. Lawson spent 2 years as a Regional Accounts Manager for a home furniture company where he aided in the maintenance of franchise dealer Accounts Receivables (ARs) and was responsible for $20 million dollars’ worth of ARs.
Lawson has one year’s real estate experience and will be joining Carolina One’s new office at 3419 Maybank Hwy on Johns Island.
