Experienced agents land at Carolina One

Two veteran agents with a total of 21 years experience in real estate have placed their licenses with the Mt. Pleasant Longpoint Road office of Carolina One Real Estate. “The Longpoint Road office is delighted to welcome Camila Gilsenan and Cara Schaafsma to our highly successful team,” said office manager Maggie McDuffee.

A resident of Charleston for the past 21 years, Camila Gilsenan is a native of Wilmington, NC. Prior to becoming a licensed Realtor® in 2003, Gilsenan worked for 15 years as a flight attendant flying the “friendly skies” of United Airlines. During her 5 years as a Realtor® with Carolina One, Gilsenan was named, in 2004, to the company’s Gold Circle of Excellence, signifying top level of achievement is real estate sales and listings.
The mother of 3, Gilsenan and her husband Dan reside on Daniel Island. In her free time Gilsenan is an active tennis player at the Daniel Island Club and a volunteer tennis coach at Christ Our King School in Mt. Pleasant. Cara Schaafsma was born in Indianapolis, IN and received a degree in Industrial Management from Purdue University. A Realtor® since 2012, Schaafsma was previously employed as a software sales representative with Oracle and as a software consultant with Accenture.
