LimRic Plumbing, Heating & Air grants $500 cach to Furlife German Shepherd Rescue and H.O.P.E Acres Rescue

LimRic Plumbing, Heating & Air has announced that the November recipients of its Gives Back Grant, a monthly donation of $500 to local nonprofit organizations, are Furlife German Shepherd Rescue and H.O.P.E Acres Rescue. The $500 checks will be presented to these two 501(c)(3) nonprofits on November 30th, 2017 at 9:30 AM at LimRic Plumbing, Heating & Air’s office, 4546 Dorchester Rd, North Charleston, SC 29405.
The LimRic Gives Back Grant was initiated in February 2016 and demonstrates “LimRic Pride” by donating $500 to a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization every month. David Miles, owner of LimRic Plumbing, Heating & Air, said, “LimRic Pride is the backbone of our company and it emphasizes the community spirit. We are thrilled to give to charities that not only rescues and rehabilitates animals in need, but also educates the community to alleviate animal abuse and neglect.”
The winner of the grant is chosen from Facebook nominations and voting. Individuals are invited to nominate their favorite charity on LimRic’s Facebook page. Then each month several charities are selected to take part in a two-week long voting process on the LimRic Facebook page. The charity with the most votes at the end of the voting period receives a $500 check from LimRic.
The purpose of H.O.P.E. (Helping Our Precious Equines) Acres Rescue is to rescue, rehabilitate, and provide a safe haven for equines in need, to live out a healthy, happy, and peaceful life through public education, county and state alliances, adoptions, donations and caring volunteers. They are a certified 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization based in Berkeley County, SC providing equine rescue assistance state-wide since 2010.
“H.O.P.E Acres Rescue is so thankful for this generous gift from LimRic Plumbing, Heating, & Air. Our mission is to provide hope for equines in need, and donations like this one do just that. Without gifts like this one, our efforts would not flourish,” said president Tracey Sawyer.
Furlife German Shepherd Rescue has two missions: to rescue and to educate. They want to educate the public about how wonderful German Shepherds are. They teach dog bite prevention and strive to inform the community on how much responsibility it takes in owning a dog. They educate the public about animal cruelty, including how often it takes place, and how prevent it. Furlife German Shepherd Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit incorporation through the State of South Carolina.
