LS3P wins three AIASC design awards
May 2, 2017Three LS3P projects were honored with awards for design excellence at the 2017 AIA SC Design Conference held in Charleston on April 22. The Secret Hollow Trail Residence, designed by LS3P’s residential team Neal Prince Studio, won an Honor Award in the Robert Mills Residential Award category. The linear layout affords maximal access to distant views.
Greenville Technical College’s Center for Manufacturing Innovation and the Research One building at Clemson University’s International Center for Automotive Research (CU-ICAR) both won Merit Awards. The Center for Manufacturing Innovation, a 100,000 square foot facility dedicated to specialized training in advanced manufacturing, supports research, entrepreneurship, and the implementation of new technologies in collaboration with industry partners.
Research One, an 82,000 square foot research facility, features 22,000 square feet of high-bay research space as well as office, classroom, lecture, and business incubator space on the CU-ICAR campus.
