The Jackson Companies names Bonita Lloyd Director of Human Resources

MYRTLE BEACH, SC – The Jackson Companies in Myrtle Beach, S.C., has welcomed Bonita Lloyd as the new Director of Human Resources. Her responsibilities include employee relations; compensation and benefit design and administration; staffing; safety; risk management; enhancing human resource technology by utilizing data analytics; and training.

Lloyd has over 25 years of diverse human resources and management experience. Prior to joining The Jackson Companies, she held human resources and business leadership positions with National Golf Management, Renaissance Entertainment, Hard Rock Park, Fantasy Harbour and Waccamaw Corporation. She has also been a consultant to a variety of local organizations.

Lloyd has an extensive background in leading human resources initiatives in the areas of handbook and policy design; compensation programs; performance management; recruitment; compliance reporting; workflow development; training and development; and the administration of benefits. She knows that the key to success in any industry requires effective employees. Therefore, she strives to create environments where employees know they are valued.

Lloyd, who moved to the Myrtle Beach area from Northeastern Pennsylvania in the mid-1980s, is very involved in the local community. She supports a variety of charities including Help 4 Kids. 

A member of the Society of Human Resources and its local chapter, Coastal Organization of Human Resources, she lives in the Forestbrook area with her husband and three dogs. Her hobbies include reading, hiking, and cycling.
