Advantage Media Group Earns a Spot on Best Places to Work in South Carolina List for Third Year in a Row

CHARLESTON, SC – Advantage Media Group was recently named one of the Best Places to Work in South Carolina for a third year in a row. This tenth annual program was created by SC Biz News in partnership with the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce and Best Companies Group.
Companies from across the state entered the two-part survey process to determine the Best Places to Work in South Carolina. The first part consisted of evaluating each nominated company’s workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems, and demographics. The second part consisted of an employee survey to measure the employee experience. The combined scores determined the top companies and the final ranking. Best Companies Group managed the overall registration and survey process, analyzed the data, and determined the final rankings.
This survey and awards program was designed to identify, recognize, and honor the best employers in the state of South Carolina, benefiting the state’s economy, workforce, and businesses. The list is made up of 50 companies. “Creating an environment in which all Advantage Team Members look forward to Monday is a key priority of mine and our company. It takes a lot of work, but hands down, this award is one of the most meaningful our company has ever received” says Founder & CEO Adam Witty.
The ranked companies were recognized at an awards ceremony and dinner, presented by Colonial Life, on August 6, 2015, in Columbia, South Carolina. Advantage Media Group was ranked 22nd overall in the Small/Medium-sized business category, recognizing the company’s Dream On Initiative where the company helps make Team Members’ dreams come true, Caught in the Act of Greatness Team Member recognition program and unlimited PTO. Honored to be named to the list for a third year in a row, Advantage credits the ranking to the caliber and commitment of it’s “A Team” Members.
Due to Advantage’s success and continued growth, the company’s headquarters on Gadsden Street in downtown Charleston, South Carolina is currently undergoing massive expansion and renovation.
