SBA, AARP announce Summer Entrepreneurship Webinar Series

Series Is Part of Joint SBA, AARP “Summer of Encore Mentoring” Initiative Promoting Entrepreneurship Among Individuals Ages 50+

 

The SBA South Carolina District Office and AARP South Carolina are holding a free, four-part webinar series focused on starting, managing, financing and marketing a small business. The webinars–scheduled for July 23, July 30, August 6 and August 20–are part of a nationwide joint SBA and AARP “Summer of Encore Mentoring” initiative to promote entrepreneurship among older Americans.

Older entrepreneurs “more often have the experience and wisdom to reach for their dreams of running a small business, and we want to help them reach that dream and change the world,” said SBA Administrator Maria Contreras-Sweet.

All webinars in the series will be live and interactive. Although part of an initiative targeted to older entrepreneurs, the webinars are open to all ages. Pre-registration is required for each webinar.
