Nexsen Pruet Elects Three New Members Across the Palmetto State
January 5, 2015COLUMBIA, SC – Nexsen Pruet has elected three members (partners) practicing out of the Columbia, Charleston and Greenville locations, effective January 1, 2015.
They are Brian Autry (Columbia), Andrew Dennis (Charleston) and Andrew Mathias (Greenville).
Brian Autry – Construction:
- Focuses on construction, commercial transactions, commercial real estate, and contract litigation
- Former General Counsel for a private equity-funded alternative energy start-up company, 2008-2011
- SC Super Lawyers “Rising Star” in Construction, 2014
- Focuses on corporate and transactional law, assisting companies of all sizes and stages, including formation, acquisition and sale
- Leadership Charleston graduate, 2013
- Leadership Berkeley graduate, 2010
Andrew Mathias – Business Litigation:
- Served as senior law clerk to SC Supreme Court Chief Justice Jean H. Toal
- Works closely with Billy Wilkins, former Chief Justice of the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals, on white collar defense litigation matters
- Advises businesses and individuals facing the prospect of a law suit, or navigating litigation in trial courts; regularly handles significant appeals in both state and federal courts
