Here is an organization that you need to know about.  A couple of years ago, Teach for America brought 30 young men and women to South Carolina to  teach in areas of the state that were having trouble attracting talent.  Their commitment was for two years.  This year, the number of Teach for America teachers has grown to over 100.  Next year, over 200.  The pitch?  What else can you do that has more impact for our state and for our country?
