Seven Young CPAs Accepted into Leadership Cabinet

CHARLESTON, SC – May 23, 2012 – Three Charleston CPAs were amongseven young professionals welcomed into the Young CPAs LeadershipCabinet (YCPA) recently. Founded in 2009, the cabinet is a program ofthe South Carolina Association of CPAs.

“We are truly excited to welcome this new group of professionals intothe cabinet,” said Erin Hardwick CEO of SCACPA. “The cabinet developsfuture leaders for the association, the profession and the communitythrough leadership development opportunities, networking and communityoutreach.”

The YCPA Leadership Cabinet is currently comprised of 22 members eachserving a three-year term. Members must be 35 years of age or youngerand licensed and residing in South Carolina. Cabinet members areselected through an application process that includes personal andprofessional achievement and community involvement.

Since its inception, the YCPA Leadership Cabinet has accepted 45 CPAs from across the state.
