Gov. Nikki Haley celebrates NK Newlook’s investment in Blackville

Haley: “It’s a great day in Barnwell County, and it’s a great day in South Carolina.”
 
COLUMBIA, SC – May 16, 2012 – Governor Nikki Haley visited Blackville on Tuesday for an economic development event celebrating NK Newlook, a manufacturer of store fixtures and retail interiors, that announced in October its plans to locate a new manufacturing and distribution facility in Barnwell County. NK Newlook’s $5 million investment is expected to create 212 new jobs.


“It’s a great day in Blackville, it’s a great day in Barnwell County, and it’s a great day in South Carolina,” said Gov. Haley. “NK Newlook saw opportunity in Blackville, and what I promised them, if they came here, is that Blackville will wrap its arms around them.”
