April 25, 2012

CHARLESTON, SC – Lily Garfield, President and Founder of The Cos Bar will speak at Small Business Lunch at Halls on Thursday, May 10. Garfield will discuss the practices and strategies she used to begin her business as a single store in Aspen, Colorado, and grow to twelve stores in chic shopping areas nationwide, including King Street, Charleston.

Cos Bar is about to become one of the first five exclusive specialty stores in the Shops at Target project, as they partner to co-create affordable, limited-edition collections for its guests. Luncheon attendees will hear Lily’s thoughts about this interesting new concept, her Cos Bar expansion and best business practices in the retail environment.

Each month, Small Business Lunch at Halls features a distinguished speaker from the business, civic or political arenas upstairs at Halls Chophouse with imaginative mid-day cuisine prepared by Executive Chef Matthew Niessner.
