Magnolia Gardens and Terrace Theater: “Monkeying around again”
April 12, 2012CHARLESTON, SC – The Terrace Theater and Magnolia Plantation and Gardens are planning some new “monkey business” on April 20 for the premier of “Chimpanzee.”
Before the showing of the Disney film, Chris Smith, director of Magnolia’s zoo and nature center, will present a display of small animals in the theater’s lobby. Smith’s presentations will be at 1 p.m. and 2:30 p.m., 30 minutes before each screening.
The animal demonstration is free with the purchase of a ticket to the movie that will benefit the Goodall Institute, which helps protect wild chimpanzees. Keep the movie ticket to receive $1 off Magnolia’s $15 garden admission price. The redemption expires April 30.
