City Parking Garage Special Rates For Cooper River Bridge Run Participants

CHARLESTON, SC – March 12, 2012 – The City of Charleston is providing all Cooper River Bridge Run participants the opportunity to park free for two hours at the Visitor’s Center, Gaillard and Aquarium Parking Garages during the Bridge Run Expo and Packet Pick-up at the Gaillard Auditorium on Thursday, March 29, 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM and Friday, March 31, 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM. Overflow parking will be provided if necessary.
A special rate of $5 will be charged at the following parking garages beginning Friday, March 30 after 5:00 PM until 2:00 PM on Saturday, March 31 for participants wishing to park their vehicles.
- Visitor’s Center Parking Garage, on Mary Street between King and Meeting
- S.C. Aquarium Garage, on Calhoun Street between East Bay and Concord Streets
- Gaillard Auditorium Garage, on Alexander Street between Calhoun and George
