MYRTLE BEACH, SC – March 1, 2012 – Turner Padget Graham & Laney, P.A. is pleased to announce the addition of Allen Jeffcoat to its Myrtle Beach office. Mr. Jeffcoat joins Turner Padget after practicing with his own firm in Myrtle Beach since 1985.
Allen brings tremendous experience to our firm, having served clientsalong the Grand Strand for 35 years, said Edward W. Laney IV, ChiefExecutive Officer of Turner Padget. His practice and client basecomplement our existing practice in the Myrtle Beach area, and we arepleased to welcome him to the firm.
Mr. Jeffcoat, who is licensed to practice in both South Carolina andNorth Carolina, serves clients in the areas of real estate, estateplanning, foreclosures, consumer and business bankruptcy, environmentallaw, corporate law, construction litigation, and general civillitigation. He represents individuals, developers, realtors, lenders,government agencies, and community associations.

He served as chairman of theReal Estate Practices Section of the South Carolina Bar, and he is also amember of the organization’s Elder Law Committee and former member ofthe Governing Council of the Natural Resources Section. He is a memberof the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys and theSouth Carolina Bankruptcy Law Association.
Mr. Jeffcoat is a member and former vice president and director ofthe Grand Strand Area Estate Planning Council. He is involved in theNational Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, Inc.
