Annual Jazz and Art Auction Gala to Support Protection and Advocacy for People with Disabilities

COLUMBIA, SC – February 21, 2012 – Protection and Advocacyfor People with Disabilities (P&A), announces its awareness gala:“Celebrating 35 Years of Advocacy” being held at the offices of NelsonMullins law firm, located at 1320 Main Street in Columbia on April 27th, 2012.
Featuring a silent auction of artwork by individuals withdisabilities, an auction of donated items, a jazz trio, wine, and horsd’oeuvres, this event spotlights P&A’s work for individuals withdisabilities to live free from abuse, neglect and exploitation.For thepast 35 years, P&A has worked to protect and advocate forindividuals with disabilities to be fully integrated into the communitywith control over their own lives; to be free from abuse, neglect andexploitation; and to have equal access to services.
